  soft links
A soft~link is a weak, annotated and remotely stored hyperlink. Unlike web annotations (predominantly content centered) soft links provide dynamic, evolvable connectivity between information sources. Similar to regular annotations, soft links have their own life-cycle and ranking mechanism. Users may create, search and display soft~links on any web page.
Cross-browser compatibility is intended in a later development phase. Current code base (alpha status) is targeting and tested with Firefox ONLY.
Start using soft~link functionality by simply installing the bookmarklet below. The service is currently in experimental phase. Use at your own risk. Please check also the Terms of Service.
  OpenQ
Provide uniform, freely accessible contextual contact information (such people, telephone number, email, etc.) for general interest services, topics, resources. Easy integration with regular consumers (such support to vCard, QR-code formats or mobile devices) is aimed.
OpenQ integrates naturally with our easy query front-end or soft~link embedded application. An additional de-contextualized search interface (for directory like services) is also available .

If soft~link is close but not exactly what you need, if the functionality misses relevant aspects or you simply feel attracted then YOU can make the difference. Please contribute to Soft ~ Link project. (Mercurial repository, hg clone http://hg.sharesource.org/annoq-annoqtwo/ annoq)
